FORMAL LETTER

Dear Sir or Madam,

I’m writing because there aren’t enough facilities and activities for teenagers in our town: cinemas, concerts, leisure centres… This photo shows three boys who are bored and don’t know what to do.

I think there are two reasons for this problem. Firstly, the council should offer more summer activities to teenagers who are under 16: public swimmingpool, free sports competitions… Secondly, in the parks of our town there are too many dog poops.

We must do something about this situation. Maybe there isn’t many activities for teenagers in other places. I don’t know, but we must definitely do something here i f we want a better society.

JOHN LENNON'S BIOGRAPHY

JOHN LENNON

John Lennon was a founding member of the Beatles, he was an incredible musician, composer and singer.

He was born on 9th October, 1940, in Liverpool (England). He didn’t have his parents because they were dead, and his aunt brought him up.

In 1960 he formed a group called the Beatles with Paul Mccartney, the pianist, Gorge Harrison, the guitarrist and Ring start, the battery.

In a short time they become a big bamous band. The most famous songs were: “She loves you” and “I want tho hold your hand”.

From 1960 to 1970 he made some films.

At Februrary 1964 they began their first American tour, it was an amazing experience from them.

He fell i love with Yoko Ono and they got married on 20 March, 1969

Unfortunately in 1970, the Beatles broke up, but later Lennon began a solo career, and he composed beautifuls famous songs like “Imagine”, she talked about the peace because he supported the peace movement.

On 8th December, 1980 a bad news shocked the world, one of his fans shot him in NY.

Since 1960 he has inspired the people around the world. Now, people still listen their songs.

A LA VIDA, NO ESTEM SOLS

Avui us faré un text argumentatiu d'acord amb la frase "a la vida, no estem sols".

En primer lloc, jo crec que en la vida mai estem sols, ja que sempre tindràs al costat un pare, un germà, un amic... És veritat que sempre hi haurà moments en els quals estaràs més sol, com per exemple, si vas a treballar a un altre país. Però sempre tindràs algú que et recolzi, encara que estigui a l'altra punta del món.

En segon lloc, jo crec que ara mateix és molt més fàcil no estar sol que fa cinquanta anys, ja que amb els mòbils et pots comunicar des de quasi qualsevol lloc. És a dir, abans, si marxaves de viatge no podies comunicar-te amb ningú.

Finalment, jo crec que hi ha moments en els quals si que estem bastant sols. Per exemple, quan has de prendre una decisió important sobre el teu futur. La gent et pot ajudar, però en realitat només ho pots decidir tu, ja que això pot afectar, i molt, el teu futur.

En conclusió, generalment, penso que en la vida no estem sols. Això no vol dir que hi hagi moments puntuals que una persona necessiti més soledat, com per exemple, si has de prendre una decisió important.

Jo visc al carrer, és un lloc fred i poc agradable. Però no tinc cap altra opció. El meu pare és un borratxo i la meva mare fa el que pot per donar-me menjar  cada dia . És trist, però és la meva realitat.

El moment que més m’agrada del dia és la nit, ja que quan em poso a somiar  tot és possible... Un pare millor, un lloc on viure...

Tinc un amic, en Harry, amb el qual jugo totes les tardes, amb ell m’oblido de tota aquesta porqueria que m’envolta. La veritat és que no sé què faria sense ell... Sempre m’ajuda en tot, escolta les meves desgràcies i em treu un somriure quan estic trist. Amb ell tot és molt millor.

Viure al carrer és molt dur, però si tens gent que t’ajuda sempre és més fàcil tirar endavant.

Perfect day

PERFECT DAY

The most remarkable day of my Christmas holidays was the 31st of December because it was very special day. I stayed in La Molina Alberg. Fist of all I got up at 7.30 am. After that I went to the dinning room and I made my breakfast. Then my family amd me went a French sky court. Then I skied all the day. When I returned to alberg I had a shower and I slept one hour because I was very tired. Suddenly I got up and it was 9:00 pm. Later I went to have dinner. After that, I played ping pong with my cousins. Later, at 11:45 pm, I went to a big room to celebrate the New Year. After that I went to slept eary because the next day I got up at 7:30 am because I went skiing again.

It was a fantastic day because my favorite sport is skiing.
